What is the sound quality?

V-MODA Crossfade Wireless has a V-shaped sound clarity, meaning it has deep thumpy bass with amazing clarity. This is to ensure that you ears don't bleed after listening to hours of extra bass. The extra bass won't destroy the whole sound spectrum, and that's the beauty of V-MODA.

What is the warranty period and whom to contact for warranty?

Is the laser engraving done for free or it have some charges?

Yup, for free. Yea you read it right. We love the various funny design requests we get for logo engraving. That's payment enough.

Can the engraving be done in color?

No, the laser engraving is not done in color. The outer layer of the shield is scrapped off by the laser and hence, the natural color of the metal is seen beneath as a design. Jugaad Level : Legendary

Do we get a detachable cable?

Yes, the V-MODA Crossfade wireless comes with Reinforced 1-Button Mic cable. Such convenience, much awesome.

Do I get a pouch/carry case with it?

Yes, you get an Exoskeleton Carry Case which is as cool as it sounds.

What is the build quality like?

Like a tank. Yes, it's built like a tank! It can withstand extreme emperatures, humidity, salt spray and UV exposure. They are the fashionable commando soldier of Headphones

Are the ear-cushions replaceable?

Yes, you can replace the ear-cushions. We sell V-MODA XL Memory Cushions which can be used for the Crossfade Wireless. You are welcome.

Does V-MODA Crossfade Wireless come with an AptX codec?

No, but you can have a look at the Crossfade 2 Wireless that does.

How do I operate my V-MODA Crossfade Wireless headphones in wireless mode?

To turn headphones on, slide the 3-way switch to the middle position. LED will start to blink once per second.

What kind of charger should I use to charge my V-MODA Crossfade Wireless?

The best option is to use a 5V output charging source with the included V-MODA V-Micro USB cable. DO NOT use external chargers with output voltage above 5V (e.g. 9V, 12V etc.) as they might cause damages to the headphones.

How can I make sure the charging source/charger output I'm using is 5V and safe for my Crossfade Wireless?

All chargers with a label "Output: 5V" are safe for Crossfade Wireless. This is the standard output of USB ports on PCs/notebooks and bundled chargers from Apple products.

What is the range of the V-MODA Crossfade Wireless in wireless/bluetooth mode?

The V-MODA Crossfade Wireless have a wireless range of up to 33ft when paired to a bluetooth device.

Is my smartphone, tablet, laptop or smartwatch compatible with Crossfade Wireless?

Crossfade Wireless are compatible with other Bluetooth devices that use Bluetooth 2.1 (or later) specifications that support the Bluetooth A2DP, hands-free and headset profiles You can control playback (forward/back/pause) with your Pebble Watch to your headphones, but it must be paired to your phone/device that is playing music

Can I pair my headphones to two devices at the same time?

Yes, Crossfade Wireless are able to maintain Bluetooth connection with two devices simultaneously such as smartphone+laptop, smartphone+tablet or smartphone+smartwatch

Can I use the headphones for Skype / VoIP communication?

Yes, Crossfade Wireless can be used for your VoIP calls if the source in charge of VoIP is Bluetooth enabled with the hands-free profile

Why is the 1-Button SpeakEasy™ Microphone & Mic cable included in the box?

Crossfade Wireless work both in wireless mode with Bluetooth devices and in wired mode with non-Bluetooth devices. Unlike other wireless headphones, the sound will be virtually indistinguishable from wireless mode in pure analog wired mode

Can I connect my V-MODA Crossfade Wireless via Bluetooth to my gaming console?

1. Sony PlayStation 4: You can use your Crossfade Wireless in wired mode by plugging them into the headphone jack on the Dualshock 4 controller using the provided 1-Button SpeakEasy™ cable, or the optional BoomPro™ microphone cable. Bluetooth connection is not currently supported for PS4.

 

2. Microsoft Xbox One/360: You can use your Crossfade/Crossfade 2 Wireless in wired mode by plugging them into the headphone jack on the controller using the provided 1-Button SpeakEasy™ cable, or the optional BoomPro™ microphone cable. Please note, a third party adapter is needed to use the Crossfade/Crossfade 2 Wireless in wired mode on the Xbox 360 and if you own an older Xbox One controller, then the official Microsoft Headset adapter will be needed. Bluetooth connection is not currently supported for neither Xbox One and Xbox 360 for the lowest latency.

 

3. Sony PlayStation 3: You can connect your Crossfade/Crossfade 2 Wireless to your PS3 via Bluetooth (Settings > Accessory Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices). When pairing the Crossfade/Crossfade 2 Wireless to the PS3, you may be asked for a "Pass Key", if so enter "0000" and continue. Please note that the PS3 only transmits chat audio through Bluetooth, NOT game audio.

 

4. Sony PlayStation Vita: You can connect your Crossfade Wireless to the PSVita via Bluetooth (accessed through the Settings menu). If asked to enter a "passkey", please use "0000". Chat and game audio will be transmitted to your V-MODA Crossfade Wireless once successfully paired with the PSVita
